Before You Begin
Please read the following carefully before starting.
The Red Flag Reality Check is a self-reflection tool designed to help identify recurring behavioral patterns in relationships and everyday interactions.
It is intended to encourage awareness, reflection, and personal growth.
This assessment is not:
- A verdict about your character.
- A diagnosis of any mental health condition.
- A medical or psychological evaluation.
- A substitute for therapy, counseling, or professional advice.
- A crisis intervention tool.
- A legal opinion.
- A relationship compatibility guarantee.
- A blame game designed to prove who is “right” or “wrong.”
- A tool to justify controlling, abusive, manipulative, or harmful behavior.
Instead, this assessment looks for patterns of behavior.
Sometimes it's easier to recognize our habits when we see them written down. Certain behaviors may feel completely normal because we've experienced them for years, watched others model them, or never stopped to question them.
Likewise, some healthy behaviors may feel unfamiliar because they weren't modeled in our lives. This assessment cannot capture every detail of a person or relationship. Every individual is more complex than a score or label. Your results should be viewed as a starting point for reflection—not a final conclusion.
Healthy relationships are built through:
As you answer, be as honest as possible. Do not answer based on who you wish you were or who you think you should be.
Answer based on what you genuinely do most often—or, if you're completing "Are They the Red Flag?", answer based on the behaviors you have consistently observed.
If your results highlight unhealthy patterns, don't see them as a life sentence.
People can learn. People can heal. People can change.
Awareness is the first step toward growth.
